Adam is Liberty Mutual’s Chief Innovation Officer and head of Solaria Labs, Liberty’s Enterprise Incubator. Solaria partners with teams from across Liberty to stay on the forefront of disruption, incubating new products, services, and experiences to better serve our customers, agents, and partners today and in the future. Areas of focus include digital ubiquity, climate change, sustainability, new transportation models, insurance value chain disruption, and risk services.
Liberty was named in Fortune’s list of America’s Most Innovative Companies based on product and process innovation, as well as Liberty’s innovation culture. Liberty’s innovation programs have also been recognized by several organizations including BostInno’s 50 on Fire, EFMA-Accenture Innovation in Insurance, and the SMA Innovation in Action Award for sustainable corporate innovation.
Prior to joining Liberty, Adam led efforts at BAE Systems (f.k.a. AlphaTech) to solve critical needs for government labs like DARPA. Programs included breakthroughs in integrated sensor processing and control, multi-source data fusion, predictive models, and autonomous systems. Prior to BAE, he established a product development lab at The Analytic Sciences Corporation (TASC) for connected sensing to enable product co-creation with customers.
Adam holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering and a M.S. in Engineering Management from Tufts University.
