Alexa McGovern is the Founder of Dirigo Sea Farm, a bioplastic materials company based in Maine. Most recently she was a strategy and operations manager at Salsify, a product experience management platform startup, where she has moved up the ranks in roles ranging from customer-facing to product development.
A passionate manager with a unique background, McGovern brings a whole-self approach to leadership. She is known for tackling complex problems, thriving in ambiguity and fostering inclusive environments that celebrate individual strengths. Previously, she held several managerial positions at E. & J. Gallo Winery. McGovern is also passionate about fundraising for breast cancer research, a cause close to her heart as she undergoes her own treatment.
She is a graduate of Boston College, where she was captain of the women's basketball team.
