Alyssa leads strategy and commercialization efforts for new tech-enabled clinical products and services at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center in Boston, MA. At Dana-Farber, she has developed new business models and strategic alliances and implemented innovation-focused programs including a new digital health venture.
Alyssa started her career as Dana-Farber’s Administrative Fellow during which she partnered with Dana-Farber’s executive team to lead strategic initiatives across the enterprise. Alyssa is passionate about helping Founders launch and scale impactful ventures, particularly those that lift the quality and value of care for underserved populations. Aside from her role at Dana-Farber, Alyssa advises entrepreneurs and venture capital investors evaluating investments in early-stage healthcare startups.
Most recently, Alyssa was accepted into BLCK VC’s Breaking Into Venture Program, an organization whose mission is to connect, engage, empower, and advance Black venture investors. Alyssa plans to leverage this experience to grow the corporate venture investment program at Dana-Farber and advocate for increased diversity in venture.
Alyssa has a Master of Health Administration degree from Cornell University's Sloan Program and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Syracuse University. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys exploring Boston’s restaurant scene and playing tennis.
