About this speaker

An electrical engineer by training, I began my career in semiconductor engineering and characterization at IBM, where I built a strong foundation in both manufacturing engineering and data analytics, including predictive modeling. In 2014, I transitioned to Tesla Motors, where I played a key role in building a data science and systems team dedicated to enhancing manufacturing quality. This experience allowed me to blend my engineering background with cutting-edge data science techniques, ultimately driving significant improvements in production processes.

After Tesla, I joined Red Ventures, a marketing technology company. At Red Ventures, I led a team focused on developing embedding models to power downstream predictions, leveraging machine learning to enhance marketing strategies and optimize customer engagement. This role further expanded my expertise in applying AI and data science to solve complex business challenges.

Currently, I serve as a Principal Data Scientist at Toast in Boston, where I am responsible for integrating AI into various aspects of the restaurant business.
