He specializes in resolving clients’ most urgent and challenging product development, cost, and quality problems, as well as coaching leaders and engineers. A recognized go-to person for overcoming the toughest technical and customer challenges, and a sought-after mentor, Andy’s leadership, innovative thinking, collaborative approach, and drive to continuously improve are reflected in a string of successful products spanning multiple demanding industries.
Prior to co-founding CAEDENCE, Andy held various engineering and leadership roles where he led many successful electro-mechanical new product development, quality improvement, and cost reduction projects. If you’ve driven in a car or truck, flown on a commercial aircraft, or operated a construction or agricultural machine, you’ve likely used one of Andy’s designs. In recognition of his technical leadership, Andy was elected by his peers to Senior Member of Technical Staff.
Throughout his career, Andy has amplified his positive influence on organizations, creating a wide range of novel technical & business skills workshops, mentoring engineering & leadership talent, and leading university recruiting. He has degrees from Cornell, Binghamton, and NTU, holds 8 patents, and is a Massachusetts registered Professional Engineer. Andy is a regular speaker at university and professional society events and a volunteer mentor, providing career guidance to undergrad and graduate students. In his spare time he enjoys cycling and hiking.
