About this speaker
Elizabeth is the co-founder and a managing partner of Touchstone Strategic Law, a boutique law firm providing tailored, forward-thinking strategies for start-ups, emerging companies, founders and executives, as well as venture capital, private equity firms, and other investors. She has over twenty years of expertise in sophisticated tax and financial structuring (both in the United States and internationally), and also represents both buyers and sellers in mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructurings. She works with clients from the first steps (choice of entity, formation and governance) throughout the entire lifecycle of their business (and often subsequent startups). For many years Elizabeth represented Fortune 500 clients at top BigLaw firms. She founded Touchstone Strategic Law to provide the same excellence and top-tier commitment to individual founders and young companies.
Elizabeth does significant pro bono work advocating for children in the foster care system, and has also served on the governing boards for the Massachusetts National Organization of Women, the Boys and Girls Club of Middlesex County, and several state and local offices of the American Civil Liberties Union. In her spare time, Elizabeth loves travel, politics, continuing education (she's usually juggling at least one or two courses at nearby (or online) universities), ice cream, and her not-so-well behaved dogs.
