Ellis is the Founder and Principal of Intagora, a technology services company, as well as the Head of Infrastructure Engineering and Chief Information Security Officer at JST Digital, a digital asset trading company. As a serial entrepreneur, he has held senior technology leadership roles at two startups in the Mobile Internet and Data Analytics markets, which collectively raised over $100 million and achieved successful acquisition exits.

With over 20 years of experience in senior leadership and executive roles, Ellis has a proven track record in building and scaling startups from inception to success. He has also led Engineering organizations across multiple global regions in Fortune 500 companies. His unique blend of practical innovation (with 16 patents), and strategic leadership has resulted in the development of scalable, secure, and award-winning products, along with the cultivation of exceptional global teams.

Previously, Ellis served as Director of Engineering and Application Security at American Family Insurance, Head of Engineering and Chief Information Security Officer at Distilled Identity, Chief Architect at Broadridge Advisor Solutions, Senior Director of Analytics Data Engineering at Carrier IQ (Nielsen), and as a Founding Member and System Architect at WaterCove Networks (Alcatel/Lucent/Nokia).

In addition to his professional roles, Ellis is an active advisor to multiple startups in the Greater Boston Area and across the U.S., contributing his expertise to the entrepreneurial community.

Ellis holds a BS in Computer Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from Boston University, as well as an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
