Gabby Lopes is an incoming freshman studying finance and technology entrepreneurship at Babson College, as well as a 2024 graduate of Plymouth North High School. She has taken on numerous leadership positions, serving as vice president for her graduating class, as well as the Southeastern Massachusetts Association of Student Councils (SEMASC). With these leadership opportunities, she has found a passion advocating for financial literacy.
In September of 2023, Gabby and her peers took on the endeavor of programming and publishing a mobile game to educate a younger generation on financial proficiency. Since the publication of the game, ""BUDget,"" on the Apple Store, the application has received 300+ downloads and a variety of five star reviews. With the BUDget App, Gabby aspires to challenge traditional learning styles with an innovative twist.
As a recent graduate of the CCTE Plymouth North Marketing Program, she hopes to give back to her school community by speaking out for financial literacy education within Massachusetts school districts.
