About this speaker
Greg is the CEO of Simbex, a premier product design, development and commercialization strategy consultancy based in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Simbex’ mission is to enable innovators to successfully bring medical devices, consumer health products, and sports technologies to market through premier engineering and strategic consulting. To accomplish this mission, Simbex maintains a culture of innovation to ensure that it not only brings value to its clients, but keeps its employees educated, engaged, and empowered. In April, Greg helped sell Simbex to its long-time client and partner, Riddell, and continues to lead the company.
Prior to Simbex, Greg was the CEO of a private equity owned (Altaris Capital) medical device company, M2S, that provided 3D imaging surgical planning services and patient management platforms to support the treatment of patients with aortic aneurysms, worked with many stent manufacturers in supporting their clinical trials through M2S’ imaging corelab services, and developed and launched a clinical outcomes registry platform (SaaS model) that enabled the company to be sold to a strategic investor in 2016.
Outside of Simbex, Greg has been on the Board of Trustees at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital for the past nine years, acting as Chair from 2019 – 2022. With an aim to grow the medtech ecosystem in Northern New England, he co-founded the Medtech Collaborative and chairs its annual conference steering committee. The Northern New England Medtech conference and pitch event is in its fourth year. He is also a member of the External Collaborative Panel for the Limb Loss and Preservation Registry, an NIH and DoD funded program led by researchers at the Mayo Clinic, and has served on the board of multiple early-stage healthcare companies.
