Ian (they/she) is a software developer, tech enthusiast, and hacker at heart, with over 10 years of experience at startups. During their freshman year, Ian began their career as an intern at EverQuote, which was then a seed-stage startup. Over the years, Ian grew alongside the company, building numerous products and leading various teams, playing a crucial role in EverQuote’s evolution into a billion-dollar publicly traded enterprise.

Ian is also an experienced hackathon organizer. At Worcester Polytechnic Institute, they helped establish the annual hackathon, now known as Goathacks. At EverQuote, Ian was a champion for the company's annual ""Ship-It Day"" hackathon, where they were an enthusiastic participant and often led their teams to prize-winning results. Today, as the Founding Engineer & Head of Platform Engineering at Cake, an AI/ML infrastructure company, Ian continues to foster a culture of innovation and creative problem-solving.
