Jane Allard is an experienced engineering leader, and is currently the Director of Governance Engineering for the Onyx Initiative at GSK. She leads a team that is working to automate Governance tasks for the Onyx data platform. Previously she was CTO at startup Carbon Arc. As the CTO, she lead the Engineering team, and partnered with the Analytics and Fundamental teams, to build a data intelligence platform. Previously she was a Director of Engineering at Akamai Technologies, leading a team to deliver a scalable cloud-based build, test and deployment system to power the Akamai platform. Prior to Akamai, she spent over 15 years at MathWorks working as a Trainer, Tester, and Tools Manager, leading many change management efforts to improve the developer experience for the organization
