Mike Kohn leads the people and human resources function at Kevel, where he is responsible for overseeing Kevel’s people strategy and talent functions as well as helping shape the company’s work culture and day to day HR processes. Prior to Kevel, Mike held several executive level People positions spanning a variety of industries. Mike’s foundational experience as an HR Business Partner and as a human capital consultant at Deloitte helped shape his career as a people executive and leadership coach, where he has been instrumental in helping scale various organizations. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Mike is passionate about building healthy, inclusive cultures where people can bring their whole selves to thrive. He serves as an Ambassador for Resources for Humans (RfH) and as a Chapter Lead for Culture First, communities designed to help HR professionals connect and share advice. He co-leads the monthly RfH Total Rewards and Compensation meetup group and has been featured on several compensation and benefits webinars and speaking events. Beyond work, he spends time at spin classes, running, playing board games, hiking, and watching musical theater.
