Perch is a sports technology startup that reimagines the weight room experience through a closed-loop suite of products including a programming tool, evaluation tool, and load management tool via velocity-based training and more. Perch quantifies the weight room experience with objective data to keep athletes safe, healthy, and motivated while saving coach time and validating decisions.

As the first employee at Perch in 2019, Nika served as a utility player for many years. She’s been an integral part of a massive growth trajectory from 0 customers to over 300. And she’s responsible for over $1.2 million in earned revenue, and the notoriety and global reach of the Perch brand and product. She has sold, marketed, supported, and helped develop the product every step of the way along with the Perch team.

Her expertise includes strategic growth, brand marketing, product marketing, market research, project management, sports science, communications, content development, campaign strategy, marketing analytics, storytelling, and community engagement.

As a Boston native, Nika wants to continue to develop the startup-friendly reputation of Massachusetts. When not at Perch, Nika spends time with friends and family outside, out to dinner, and out and about. She frequently can be found in the gym, surfing, backpacking, fly fishing, or just reading a book or lounging on the couch. She’s currently learning Spanish, recently got into grilling, and is a huge track and field fan.
