About this speaker

Sasha began her career as an investment banker in the technology groups of Goldman Sachs and Lehman Brothers, where she worked on IPOs and M&A deals for such clients as Facebook, Yelp, and SanDisk. She transitioned from finance to being an operator and has spent the last decade focused on leadership roles that intersect product, business development and strategy. She was the VP of Business Development for Plastiq, where she joined as one of the first employees and structured deals with major credit card networks, banks and partners. Post that, she spearheaded a new innovation division for Piaggio Group (makers of Vespa) where as COO she managed a team that built and launched semi-autonomous robotic vehicles. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she led global customer engagement at Uber where she drove the product and strategy for the company’s subscriptions business, Uber Rewards program, and third-party loyalty partnerships globally (e.g., Marriott and American Express) where she doubled the size of the user base to over 50M.

Sasha is currently a Partner with Remus Capital, an early stage AI-focused venture fund where she also serves on both private and public boards. She also consults with hospitality companies, marketplaces, SaaS and consumer goods companies to help them scale their subscription and loyalty programs, overhaul their product suites and strategize new channels for growth.
